Background
Euthymia is run by a consultant psychiatrist with 20 years’ experience in psychiatry in New Zealand and the UK. Alongside private work, they hold a senior clinical leadership role in public adult mental health services in Auckland.
The service reflects that experience: an assessment that answers the GP’s question, and a plan that works in primary care.
How to refer
Send a standard referral letter by secure email to referrals@euthymia.co.nz. Please include:
- Your specific question, or what you’d like from the assessment
- Current medications and doses, including past trials if known
- Relevant history, recent bloods and ECG if applicable
- Patient contact details
Clinics are on weekends, in person in Auckland.
Not for urgent referrals. Inboxes are checked [weekly]. For acute risk, contact your local Health NZ specialist mental health service. In an emergency, call 111.
